Candace Joy Spade

Candace Joy Spade, born January 2, 2014 at Gratiot Community Hospital, died March 20, 2014 at home peacefully in her sleep.

Candace liked her rocker and loved to be on her hoppy pillow. She also loved to be wrapped in and holder her soft blue blanket. Candace loved to smile and was very happy towards the end.

She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Kathy Husted; her siblings Shyane Husted, Thomas Husted III, Zachariha Husted, Savannah Spade, Starrlynn Spade; her aunts and uncles Steve Husted, Mike Husted, Ruthann Wilson, Steve Smith, Philip Smith; and her grandparents June Husted, Gail Stallkamp, and Robert Jennings.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa Thomas W. Husted, great grandparents Clara Spade and James T. Spade, and great uncle James T. Spade, Jr.

Funeral services for Candace will be 11am Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Hope Bible Baptist Church in Maple Rapids with Pastor Steven Lang officiating and burial to follow at Eureka Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8pm, Sunday, March 23 at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca.

My heartfelt sympathy go out to Candace's parents, brothers, sisters and other members of the family. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious little girl. You can find comfort in these verses, Psalms 147:3 says " He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds." Psalm 94:19 " When anxieties overwhelmed me, you comforted me. You comforted and soothed me." And please believe that this promise will come true, Revelation 21:4 where it says "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
