Udell Martin Hartman

 Udell Martin Hartman, age 80, of Ithaca, died Monday, May 12, 2025, at MI Michigan Medical Center Alma.

Udell was born in Riverdale on September 29, 1944, the son of James Harold and Lana (Hunt) Hartman. For thirty years he worked in Lansing at Oldsmobile.  He loved watching college basketball, and was a loyal Spartan, Tigers, and Lions fan.  He loved the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting, as well as trapping muskrat, mink, raccoon, and fox.  When at home, he loved to watch Western TV.

Udell is survived by his daughter, Melinda (Kevin) Rowe of Birch Run, and Michael Hartman (Sally) of Middleton; seven grandchildren: several great grandchildren; a special friend, Dawn Humphrey; his brothers, Cecil (Jan) Hartman of Vestaburg and Orcen (Lynn) Hartman of Riverdale; his sisters, Robin (Nelson) Langworthy of Vestaburg and Sheila Davis of Riverdale; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Raymond Harold Hartman and Morris Hartman.
