I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Ted's family and friends at this difficult time. I find comfort comfort in the promise given at revelation 21:4 which says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". The Bible's promises are real and something we can depend on, so I hope you can draw a measure of comfort and hope from this. I am truly sorry for your loss.
