Ann Marie Mills

Ann Marie Mills, 73, of Sheridan passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in Greenville.

Ann was born on February 17, 1939 in Pompeii to Cecil H. and Neta (Bebout) Viles.  On August 17, 1957 she married Bernard "Lyle" Mills in Perrinton.

 Ann loved to hunt, fish, camp, travel, sew, and spend time with family and friends.  She enjoyed a good laugh and had opinions on many things.    Ann and her husband volunteered at many of the  monthly parties for people with disabilities at the Sheridan VFW.

 Ann is survived by her loving husband, Lyle; her son, Bryan (Kathy) Mills of Lake Mary, FL; her daughter, Michelle Mills of Greenville; granchildren,  Travis & Todd (Nicole Sly) Teusink, Matthew & Bill Mangus, Kelvin Patterson, and Craig & Tracy Patterson; several great grandchildren; brother, Dale (Luci) Viles; many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends Ben & Kathy Gates, with special thanks to Tim & Amanda Funk & children.

 Ann was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Bradley Mills; and daughter and son in law, Cheryl and Paul Mangus.

 The family is following Ann's wishes and no services will be held at this time.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sheridan VFW Auxiliary, envelopes are available at the Barden Funeral Home, Stanton.

To Ann's family and friends I wish to express my condolences. I would like to share a thought that will hopefully bring you some comfort in the days to come. Psalms 34:18 says "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; And to those who are crushed in spirit he saves". So be assured that God cares about what you're going through right now, not only that but he promises something better for the future in revelation21:4 where it says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". I hope these verses can bring you a measure of comfort in this difficult time.. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to hear of Ann's passing - I will remember her as a great classmate of 1957 - It was so good to visit with her at past reunions - my sympathy is with you Lyle and family - I remember all the letters she used to write you while in school-my sympathy to all of you.
