I want to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband and Dad. He was a wonderful man and had a heart of gold. He will sure be missed, but he is now in heaven where he wants to be and rejoicing with the Lord. Peace be with you all and know you are all in my prayers. He's now at peace and watching over all of you.

Philip was simply one of the nicest men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. His son Dave is my best friend, since high-school. Many times I'd go to their home, and Philip always made me feel so very welcome. He could always make me laugh. It was genuinely a pleasure to be around him. He truly was one of humanities rare treasures, a person who was easy to like and to love. I will always remember him with a heartfelt smile.

It is definitely a bitter sweet moment as we mourn the loss of our dear friend, and yet celebrate the life of Phil as we know that he is now with God, at peace, and no more suffering. Phil was very instrumental in my life as with many young children thruogh the church. His service and dedication to the AWANA program at the Ithaca Baptist Church was amazing. He inspired me to be competitive, honest, and faithful while doing the best I could do in everything. Phil committed his time to the AWANA program for children with every resource that he had, and every bit of love and generosity pouring out of his soul. I remember very well, when he took the time out of his schedule to come to my house to see my first wood project that I had built. It meant a lot to me to know that he cared enough to do that! Phil, we will miss you, thank you for all the great servitude and memories.
Judy, David, Peter, John, and Andy- you have a great Husband/ DAD to be proud of and my thoughts are with you and yours at this time and always.
