David Mark Munro

David Mark Munro, age 62 of Elwell, Michigan, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022, at his home. Dave was born October 15, 1959 to Edward and Phylis (Teed) Munro of Mount Pleasant.

Dave was a very hard-working family man and a true outdoorsman. He loved collecting guns, hunting, fishing, morel hunting, trapshooting, riding dune buggies at Silver lake, collecting coins, and snowmobiling with his family and friends.

Even at times when his health wasn’t at its best he still managed to show up at his grandkids sporting events, they were truly his pride and joy. There were also multiple times where he would take his grandkids hunting. Dave would wait in the truck anxiously to hear their shot go off, knowing that the gun used was one he gave or built for them, along with the bullet he had loaded for them. There was honestly nothing that Dave couldn’t build or fix.

Dave was a man of few compliments, but his children and grandchildren always knew how proud he was by the smile on his face. Dave had quite the drive for success and the patience to do so, not many could keep up with him. He made sure to mold his work ethic in his boys.

Dave also had a generous heart who would give the shirt off his back to any in need, even if at times it wasn’t deserved. He was a man that would never ask for help no matter his situation.

Dave is survived by his wife Tammy, Brother Kenny Teed, Sister Christine Munro, and children Brad(Racheal) Munro, Chad (Mandy) Munro, Jessie Morgan, and Tony Adams. Grandchildren Darean, Kyah, Brayley, Caelob, Jada, Hoyt, Cole, and Great grandchildren Brayven, Harper, and Bella Lou.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Edward Munro and Phylis (Teed) Vanostrand, Brothers Robert and Mike Munro, and sister Sharon Munro.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18 of 2022 at 1 PM at Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca Michigan. Directly following services, all are welcome to join the family at Hubscher Park in Sumner to share our most cherished memories over a meal.
