Her strong faith in God was evident to all who knew her, as she lived it daily.  Lois was very kind, giving, full of grace, and tough when she needed to be.

For those wishing to honor Lois' memory, her family suggests contributions to Trinity Church, Stanton, Alzheimer's Association of MI, and/or do something nice for someone in need. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Barden Funeral Home, Stanton. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.bardenfuneralhome.com.

I knew Lois before we became "step sisters;" we rode the same school bus; truly I can't remember ever seeing her getting on or off tha bus without a smile. Later, through the shared years with her and Bob at family functions that wonderful light of her spirit was always there. I did so appreciate her kindness and consideration always of my mother and all our family. My heartfelt thoughts to her family now. God bless and be near to each of you, Elsie(Mannor) and Don Randall

Uncle Bob, Jane and John,
Aunt Lois was a beautiful person inside and out. She reminded me so much of my mom in looks, mannerisms, and especially her laugh. I’m so sorry for your loss and have no doubt she and mom are laughing in heaven together. All my love.

Dear Bob, Jane and John,
Please accept my sympathy in the loss of your mother. I worked with her for twenty + years and really appreciated her helpfulness and kindness. She worked hard in the media center and was so patient with the students with disabilities who worked for her. She was also patient with and kind to me as we worked together on projects. Her smile and willingness to help teachers and staff set the tone for the media center. Lois was definitely a hard worker and was loved by all.

So sorry to hear about Lois. I worked at the Montcalm ISD with Lois and I'm still here...we had many laughs together back then. She was a wonderful person and I saw her is my friend as she was friendly to everyone. Her and Marge rain a tight ship back in those days with the film rolls going out to the local school districts. Bless her heart.....She loved you all as much as you loved her. Thinking of you all.
