Fond memories will remain for those of us at Towne Square who knew him. It was always a joy to see him and Kipper driving around in his car. Our thoughts and prayers will be with all his family.

I will miss Richard...I was a pro bowler and took him to the lanes every now and then.. I lived in Indiana and only got to see him on feww occasions..I used to wash his corvette and he was such an appreciative man.. a true friend.. to bad Towne sq vills discriminated aginst him so severly.. he was upset alot of the time because he was unable to take them on... ialways made themleave him alone and chastised the Board of directors for discriminating against him and stealing his oranges...they also allowed several people to sreal his medications and break in from now and again.. I only wish I was there more often to protect him He was such a calm and generous person ..I will miss him

Richard will be missed. He was such a nice man, and was one of the first people we met when we came to Towne Square. He was driving his white Camaro and even offered to let us drive it. He had a big heart, and we will miss our talks.

We met Richard in 1995, during a visit to Towne Square Villas to see my suster Wilma (Tiny) Hanka. After my sisters dead we purchased her condo and continued our friendship with Richard. Every year when we went down Richard had a new project to share with us. He enjoyed making wine and turned his master bedroom closet into a wine cellar. It was very impressive and he enjoyed sharing a glass of wine with his visitors. He talked often of his family and how much he loved them and looked forward to his visits to see them and their visits to Florida.
Our fond memories are when we and our children would visit my parents who lived at Towne Square Villas from 1979 until their deaths in 1997 and 2000. Richard would always come over to my parents condo with his famous "stickey buns" for the children who are now 32, 31, and 30 years old. He was very kind and a good friend to all those who knew him.
