I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Darrel occasionally, mostly during storms and some projects including eagle scout osprey nest platforms. We will miss him at Consumers Energy. May Darrel rest in peace and may you find peace as well.
Darrel and I shared a cubicle wall for over 17years. He and I worked day in,day out, played cards, went to meetings and training, had countless lunches and laughs together. As I'm sure you know, we had our differences, just like a couple squabbling brothers. But, he was my brother, and I miss him like a brother. My prayers are with you.
I worked with your dad for many years, he was a great person and a great coworker. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I have worked with Darrel for many years at Consumers. I remember him always having a positive attitude and looking at the bright side of any situation. He will be missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
We have had many childhood memories together but my greatest honor was to be in your and Mary’s wedding. Some of the best things about you was how positive and cheerful you always were. Some of my favorite memories are when you, Mary and I found each other at cross country invitationals to cheer for each other, checking on me and my little kids during an ice storm while you were working and welcoming me and my kids into your family to watch a Big Ticket Concert together in Gaylord. You looked out for the people you cared for with open arms and a great sense of humor.
You will be missed by all who are still here and love you.
My deepest condolences for Mary, your sweet girls, Neil & Linda and Stacey and family. If I was there in person I would silently hug you for this is a great loss.
