Frances Morris

Frances Morris, age 62, of Ithaca, Michigan passed away suddenly but peacefully on July 25th, 2010 in her sleep.

Frances was born January 27, 1948 to Andrew and Stella (Gager) Wysocki in Dearborn, Michigan. She was the beloved wife to Dean Eugene Morris, whom she married August 19, 1967 in Westland, Michigan, and was a loving mother and grandmother to her daughter Francine Morris, and grandchildren Kyle Fancher and Kjerstin Lacina.

Frances was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved animals and would take in strays. She also enjoyed working in her garden and was a great shuffleboard player, which she and Dean enjoyed playing in Florida. She was also very active with service in her church.

She is survived by her husband Dean Morris; daughter, Francine Morris; and grandchildren, Kyle Fancher and Kjerstin Lacina. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Funeral services for Frances will be 11am Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Oasis Community Church in Ithaca. Pastor Dale Wolf will officiate and burial will follow in Ithaca Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4pm and 6-8pm Wednesday, July 28, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gratiot County Humane Society in memory of Frances Morris.
