Wilma Jean Andrews
Wilma was born March 28, 1945, the daughter of Roy and Ida (Inniger) Drake, at her aunt and uncles farm house in Newark Township. She grew up in Perrinton, Mi, and graduated from Fulton High School with the class of 1963.
She married Larry Dean Andrews on November 5, 1965, in Perrinton. They have four children, James Andrews of Mt. Pleasant, Ronda (Dean) Sills of Maple Rapids, Brent Andrews of Ashley, and Karla (Gordon)Lindsey of Ithaca; five grandchildren, Raelyn (Sherman) Jabrocki, Michelle Lindsey, Bradly, Meggan, and Gary Andrews; and one great-grandchild due August 2018.
She is survived by her siblings, Verena Howell, Margaret Tipton, Ina Blair, Glenn (Betty)Drake, Mary Bolin,and several nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Gladwin and Marvin Drake; her brothers-in-law, Ron Howell, John Tipton, Russell Blair,Vern Bolin, Bill (Bea) Andrews, and Robert (Margie)Andrews; and her sisters-in-law, Luella Drake, Irene Drake, Iris Drake, and Edith (Ray) Webber.
Wilma enjoyed country music, singing Karaoke, deer watching, walking the Mackinaw Bridge on Labor Day, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Ken Blair and Karl Drake officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, at the Barden Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Ashley Care Center for the excellent care they provided over the last several years. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or to Make a Wish Foundation.
