She belonged to the United Methodists and was a Sunday School teacher. She was involved in several activities at the Masonic Pathways, including the choir and tutoring children in reading. Eddie loved the UP and traveling to different states to visit family. She was also a big fan of the Detroit Tigers.

Eddie was a loving and happy person with a great sense of humor. She will be missed but is now with our Lord.

Eddie is survived by her daughters Gaila Rae of Hilton Head, SC, Dorothy Johnson Cordell of El Granda, CA, Nadine Jerome of Turk Lake, Margret Peacock of Sumner, and Mary Hall of Boyne City. She is also survived by several grand and great grandchildren.

To Eddie's daughter, Dorothy: Your mom was an AMAZING woman! I had the pleasure of seeing her on several occasions on my trips to Mid-Michigan. And I know that my grandma, my mom, and my family thought she was awesome, as well. I will always remember her larger than life smile! God rest her soul.

I am so sorry I did not hear about Eddie's death until today. She was a great woman and loved by many. I will share this info with my uncle, Dave Minser.
