Zeda Mae ‘Pat’ Miller

Zeda Mae ‘Pat’ Miller, 79, passed away at home on Sunday, June 8th, 2014 in Sheridan, Michigan after bravely battling prolonged health issues.

She was born on January 26, 1935 in Logan, New Mexico to Malcom and Deborah Patterson.

On February 19, 1966, she married the love of her life Marland Wayne Miller and together they raised three children Kim, Debbie and Eric until he passed away in 1990.

Pat is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one heartbroken little dog named Rocky.

Pat was a down to earth, good person with a quick wit and feisty sense of humor, even during the worst of times. She will be missed at the card tables of many friends, by the arms of her grandchildren and by the flowers and hummingbirds in her yard.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life on June 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. Services will be officiated by Wayne Beard at Barden’s Funeral Home, 2999 S. Sheridan Rd, Stanton, MI 48888 and will be followed by a luncheon at the Sheridan VFW Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the following charitable organizations; American Diabetes Association, Paralyzed Veterans of America, American Heart Association, the Sheridan VFW Women's Auxilary, and her granddaughter’s nonprofit The Firecracker Foundation to provide therapeutic services to children who have survived sexual trauma. From my family to yours our condolences for your loss. Our prayers are sent with love.
While it saddens me to learn of the death of a loved one, it saddens God even more. He does not want your family to grieve in pain. Please know that He is very aware of the many fond memories you shared together. That is why, through Christ Jesus, God promises to resurrect those in The Memorial Tombs. ( John 5:28,29) As you await the fulfillment of His promise, take comfort from His word and comfort your other grieving loved ones with the same comfort. (2 Cor 1:3,4) You can also find and share encouragement from the site www.jw.org. All the best wishes for your family at this difficult time.
