Debra Lynn Sowles-Corwin, age 65, of Stanton, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Deb was the oldest daughter of Dale and Maxine Ruby (Chubb) Sowles, and was born on September 26, 1955 in Greenville.
Debra had worked many years at the former Electrolux Home Products and Wright Plastics Products. Deb missed her job and all her shenanigans with co-workers when she was no longer able to work. She enjoyed playing golf, a good Polka dance, and playing cards…but most of all she enjoyed her family. She loved to watch her grandkids play sports and ride around town on the golf cart with them. She had a passion for cooking, but loved to go out to breakfast with friends and family when she could.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dale “Pa” Sowles.
Surviving are her mother, Maxine “Ma” Sowles; a daughter, Heather Butler (Greg Anderson) of Stanton; a son, Ryan Alexander (Nicole Putney) of Stanton; grandchildren Kiara Ackley, Gunner, Fisher, and Jerzey Hill, Addison Putney, Trigger and River Anderson; her great-granddaughter, Blaike Ackley; a sister, Julie “Chic” Sowles of Stanton; and many friends.
Celebration of life will take place on July 10, 2021 from 3-6pm at 815 N. Sheridan Rd. Stanton MI 48888 .
