Neil Edwin Crandall, age 62, of Crystal, MI, passed away on February 07th 2021.

Neil , was born on September 14th, 1958 to Ed and Nancy Crandall in Mason, MI.

In 1980 he met Jean and they wed in December 23rd 1980, going on to have 3 children, Justin, Amber, and Natosha.

Neil was a force of nature, determined to make everyone laugh. He was a loving husband and father, grandfather, son and brother. His family meant the world to him and up until his last days he made sure they came around often.

Whether it be bucket golf, cornhole , cards or horseshoes he made sure he always won because if you asked him he was the best at everything!

He was also a prankster wherever he went and rarely could you get him back. He was the king of wet willies even though we all disliked them very much! He had an extensive collection of nascar and watched it religiously every Sunday.

Neil was also a passionate of metal detecting and could often be found with Jerry when he wasn't at home. He loved to go digging for any kind of treasure he could find. He would get really excited when he found many old treasures, he would bring them home clean them up and research what they were and then would show them off to anyone who would listen as to the history of his finds. Sometimes his family would throw coins or bottle caps out in the yard to get him going while he was metal detecting.

Anyone who knew Neil knew that he was the most loving father and husband, brother and son a family could ask for. Neil was predeceased by his dad Edwin Crandall, His Uncle Wendell, Uncle Louie, Aunt Anita, Aunt Peg, Uncle Bill, Aunt Marie and Cousin David.

He is survived by his wife Jean Crandall, son Justin (Sara) Crandall of Alma, his daughter Amber Crandall of Vestaburg, his daughter Natosha and fiancé Jim of Lakeview. His mom Nancy (Tim) DeCorte of Charlotte. His brother Larry Crandall of Mason, His Brother Steve (Carrie) Crandall of Mason, His sister Donna (Dave) Gehringer of Mason. Grandchildren Madison, Kaden, Cole, Trenten, Eathen, Khloe, JJ, JR and Mila
and many nieces and nephews
