Tom E Davis, born October 22, 1959, passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2021. He is survived by “Crick” his “wife” of 34 years, his son “Code/Bubba” and many other family members.
The family would like to share the following:
The world lost a great man today. One of the most caring and hard working grandpas out there. Thank you for taking care of grandma and always putting everyone else first. I'll forever hold onto the days of you picking me up from school in your 1980 blue GMC truck and all of the childhood memories you were a part of. You were always the best at saying just the right things to irritate grandma and I know she will miss it, we all will. You're in a better place now and I'm sure glad you got a chance to be a part of Laynee's life, I'll make sure to tell her how great you were. I'm so glad you got to be a part of the major events in my life and can't wait to see you again someday, I just wish you could have stuck around a little longer.
Today we lost a great man, a man who had many names, some of which I can't say here Ha Ha! He was a hard working, husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa and boy was he proud of being a grandpa, brother and friend to all he met. We have some great memories from family adventures to “Hey, can you look at my car?” The best memory I have is the day he came into our lives and became the father we never had, he filled a hole that was always open and I wish I would have told him how much he really meant to us. Tom a/k/a Dad we will forever miss you. Love your family
A special thank you to Avalon & Tahoe and his work family for their comfort and support during this difficult time (he truly loved his job).
The family would also like to thank everyone that assisted, medical and non-medical, we truly appreciate all of the efforts that were made and thank you to Barden Funeral Home for always making these difficult times a little easier.
