Robert Allen Pitcher

Robert Allen Pitcher, age 60, of Ithaca passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at his home.

Robert was born May 8, 1957 to Charles Duane and Phyllis Marie (Yocum) Pitcher in Sheridan, Michigan. 

Robert loved cars and was a self proclaimed “Master Mechanic”. He also loved computers, electronics, and flying his drone. For several years, Robert was employed for Dicker and Deal, he also delivered parts for General Motors, and for the last 10 years he was a driver for Hogan Trucking who delivered for Save-A-Lot food stores. Above all, he was a committed and dedicated father and a good role model for Farah. He was always Farah’s biggest fan.

Robert is survived by his daughter Farah Pitcher of St. Johns; his mother Phyllis Ross of Montague (formerly Carson City); and his brothers and sisters Kathy Warfield (Craig Downs) of Auburn, Alabama, Lisa (Wes) Jenson of Marshall, Minnesota, Christopher (April) Ross of Montague, and Bill Ross (Tim Chase) of Carson City. He was preceded in death by his father Duane Pitcher.

A memorial service will be held for Robert at the Ithaca Senior Activity Building, June 2, 2018 at 2pm. 

The family is being served by the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.bardenfuneralhome.com.
