Kevin Lee Thompson

Kevin Lee Thompson, age 51, of Sidney, died Monday, February 5, 2018, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Kevin was born in Grand Rapids on April 24, 1966, the son of Richard Gordon and Reva Mae (Zasimowich) Thompson.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hockey, bonfires, going to concerts, camping, gardening, and basically anything outside.

Kevin is survived by his father, Richard (Audrey) Thompson; his children, Kelli Thompson, Jason Thompson, Katrina Thompson, and Derrick Thompson; and his brothers and sister, John (Jennifer) Thompson, Eric Thompson, Dale Thompson, and Tania (Mark) Vanportfliet; and lots of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Reva Thompson, and his grandmother, Dorthy Vernon.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10, at the Barden Funeral Home in Stanton, with Pastor Shane Prewitt officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Interment will be in Sidney Cemetery.
