Francis J. (Tuck) Norris, age 88, of Mount Savage, Maryland, passed away on June 23, 2017 at home surround by family.
He was born on July 12, 1928, the son of William H. Norris and J Mae Norris ( Werner) Norris of Mount Savage, Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris M. Norris and a son Donald Norris; two brothers, William H. Norris Jr. and Vincent Norris.
Francis was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was retired from the City of Plano, Texas in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Barrelville Maryland Outdoor Club and the Pine Mountain Sportsman Club in Eckhart Maryland. He always loved to tell a good joke and to hear one as well. Francis never met a stranger.
Surviving are his sons, Steven Norris of Mount Savage, Maryland and Bryan Norris and wife Loren of Deputy, Indiana; two brothers, James and wife Veronica, Regis and wife Jane both of Ithaca Michigan; three sisters, Mary Fabbri and Betty Shaffer both of Mount Savage, Maryland, and Pauline Ritchey of Frostburg Maryland. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca Michigan on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Chuch in Ithaca at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Internment will be in the Ithaca Cemetery next to his beloved wife Doris.
