Bonita June Haviaras, age 53, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Schnepp Health Care in St. Louis.
Bonita was born September 5, 1963, in Royal Oak, Michigan. She worked at Chemical Bank in Midland and in recent years at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant. She was an amazingly strong woman who endured through many hardships in life. She had a great love for her family and always strived to be kind.
Bonita is survived by two daughters; 7 grandchildren; her sister; and 8 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Pastor Terri Bentley officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in Lee Township Cemetery in Midland.
