Linda Lucille McGill, age 70, of Sumner, died at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alma on October 3, 2016.
Linda was born on May 11, 1946 in Alma, the daughter of J.B. and Loretta Elaine (Spiece) Maxwell. She worked at Wolverine World Wide and retired as an Ithaca rural mail carrier.
She loved God and her family very deeply. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, flowers, and collecting antiques. She looked forward to their yearly family campout to be with family and all their activities.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; sons Steve (Libbijo) Walker of Ithaca, Dave (Rhonda) Walker of Goshen, Indiana, Shawn (Julie) Newton of Wheeler, and Bryon (Tanya) McGill of Grand Rapids; daughter Carmen (Brian) Bowser of Andover, Minnesota; grandchildren Shaelee Walker (Sean Herrick), Kyanna Walker, Broxton Walker, Brooke Walker, Morgan Walker, Grace Newton, Sarah Newton, Abbey Chatterson, Benjamin Bowser, Justin Bowser, and Liam Bowser; great grandson Soren Herrick; and one brother Nolan (Betty) Maxwell of Rock Lake.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Edgewood Church of God, with Pastor Dave Perry officiating. Burial will be in the Hamilton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edgewood Church of God.
