Randy Allen Kinney

Randy Allen Kinney, age 59, of Ithaca, formerly of Sumner, died Sunday, August 30, 2015, at his home in Ithaca.

Randy was born on april 8, 1956, in Alma, the son of Rex Alfred and Amelia (Uribe) Kinney.  He graduated from Ithaca High School, served his country for 14 years in the National Guard, and worked hard in a factory.  He loved the outdoors, and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the racetrack.  He was a family man and loved his sons, daughter, and his grandchildren.

Randy is survived by his children, LD (Charity) Kinney of Sumner, Randy (Jen) Kinney of Ithaca and Christina DeLeeuw of Port Huron; his step-children, Veronica Polaski of Rockford, MI, Paul (Becky) Polaski of Lakeview, and Jimmy (Kathy) Polaski of Howard City; his grandchildren, Emily, Stephanie, Jacob, Salena, Izzac, Isaiah, Kalleigh, Taylor, Emily, Hannah, Ashley, Sammy and Issabell; his great grandchild, Bentley; his brothers and sisters, Kathryn (Jay) Hudson of Dudley, Georgia, Joy Kinney of Mt. Pleasant, Kathleen Krueger of Kalamazoo, Russell (Amy) Kinney of Traverse City, and Roger (Jeralyn) Kinney of Coleman, MI; and his best friend, Jack VanHorn.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Pastor Troy Braman officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will be in Sumner Cemetery.
