Elma Pearl Ryan, 81, of Stanton, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Laurels of Carson City.

She was the daughter of Kenneth and Beatrice (Timmons) Wilson and was born in Stanton on December 8, 1931. On April 16, 1949 she married Joseph Ryan of Carson City.

Elma is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jeffrey Whitney of Stanton; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Terry and Linda Ryan of Stanton, Don and Jillene Ryan of Sheridan, and Doug and Mary Jane Ryan of Sheridan; eight grandchildren, twelve great grand children; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Patricia Wilson of Stanton; three sisters-in-law, Maxine Ryan of Crystal, Gladys (Buck) Ryan of Carson City, and Ethel Ryan of Sheridan; several nieces and nephews.

Following Elma's wishes, a private family funeral has been held with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. For those desiring to do so, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hospice Unit at the Laurels of Carson City.
